"here I sit, waiting for him"
vacant spot in your heart
 |
| This picture was taken while taking a moment to listen to the wind, with Canon DS126321 Camera. |
sitting under a canopy of this maple;
once robust, now of fading leaves
a time of year, held so dear
reflecting on how this where,
your farm should be
living happily in your elder days.
though for now this spot will do
as a pause on life,
waiting for that someone
who will, one day will share
the dream
the one you sit here and long
under this very canopy.
